Grid take profit: fixed TP, four targets and 3TP with trailing
Compare grid bot exits: one fixed take-profit target, four partial TP exits and three targets with a trailing stop on the remaining share.
A fixed take-profit target
TP stands for take profit: a target for exiting a position. In the educational Grid TP 0.5% mode, the entire volume of one level sells 0.5% above its entry. An entry at 100 has a target of 100.5. This is a price change before fees and other costs, not a promise of net return on capital. A take-profit order alone does not limit losses if the market falls.
Four targets and partial exits
The Grid 4TP example divides a position into four 25% shares. Targets are +0.5%, +1%, +2% and +4% relative to that entry price. Closing one share does not close the others. Each separate filled exit may count as a trade in the statistics; four targets do not mean four entirely independent original positions.
Three targets plus a trailing share
In 3TP + trailing mode, the first three shares exit at fixed targets while the final share follows a rising price after trailing activation. Its final exit price is therefore not known in advance. Before activation, that share has no such trailing stop. The interactive strategy page illustrates partial exits and re-entry.
